Etruscan Tombs

For one of our Italian classes we all took a field trip down the hill to visit the Etruscan tombs or the Necropolis.  We had all been viewing from the top of the hill all semester and were very excited to see it up close. Unfortunately, in my opinion it was much cooler from the top of the hill. Although it was very pretty with all the grass and flowers, in the end they were just holes in the ground, although I did really like the lettering that was above each of the tombs.
